Who would have guessed that only a few months after we had decided to make the bold move to hang our shingle in Poulsbo - the new home of Parlor Shop Pizza - would we no sooner learn that COVID-19 would close our doors before we even had a chance to open them.
Regardless, we made the decision to persevere—the ParlorShop must go on! With the uncertainty of when things would begin to open up again, we took the opportunity to strengthen our commitment. We went to work redesigning the interior of what was once ‘Campana’s' restaurant, a landmark building with a long history, into a warm and inviting space that is slightly more contemporary—yet respectful of its historic origins. (Check out our photo gallery below).
Perhaps equally as important, the unexpected extra few months gave us time to learn and prepare our selves and the Parlor Shop for the safest possible experience under these circumstances; from seating to eating—we’re ready to serve you great artisan pizza along with a warm and inviting, (and of course, socially safe) family friendly environment!

From the beginning, we’ve wanted to create an experience that was different. So we started with an atmosphere that celebrated true parlor style pizza—from our cold fermented, hand tossed crust, to farm fresh veggie's and cheese, to the table—you’re gonna love it!
When asked, "What is it about Pizza that makes you want to spend the rest of your life cooking and serving it?", part owner and main pizza chef, Mike Dressler said, "A couple of reasons, It's one of those foods that everyone loves and you get to pick it up and eat it with your hands! When you combine those two simple things you end up with an atmosphere that's inviting, fun and of course—even a tad relaxing at times like these."
I learned a few of the recipes we feature today, many years ago from my mom—she was a fabulous cook.
I enjoyed every opportunity to learn, specially since at the end of every lesson, the reward was eating what you just made. :) If you haven't yet, you should try the New York with broccoli. Most people gasp at the idea of putting broccoli on a pizza, but—you've gotta try it—we think you'll be pleasantly surprised.
If you're looking for a hip venue to host your next shin-dig come check us out. The "Lounge" is large enough to satisfy a hungry Super Bowl mob! And does anything really go better with a pizza party than an old fashioned arcade room? Of course not! Well...for the mature crowd—maybe cocktails on draft? Yup, we've got that covered to.
